Frank and William

While Chad and Colin were away at scout camp, we were given the opportunity to host a couple of Chinese exchange students for 2 weeks. I thought it sounded like a great idea! We got two 16 year-olds, Frank and William.
One of the teachers, Dorothy, stayed with my friend, Lisa Thronbrue. They were so fun to have and get to know. They were very different personalities. Frank was outgoing and funny. William was soft-spoken and neat. Dorothy was just plain adorable and sweet. Especially with children.
We had dinner and game night one night. We played Apples to Apples, which was a lot of fun, especially to help the non-native English speakers expand their vocabularies.
And I won't say a word about this shot (One day you'll be glad I posted it, Micah.):
SungHee and her kids joined us up at Brighton to hike up to Lake Mary. It was a beautiful day.
Below are Matthew, Frank, Mira, Phoenix, Micah, William, and Ella:
Phoenix, Matthew, and Alyssa taking one of their many breaks.
We made it to Lake Mary. We learned this is a water shed area, so no one is permitted to even touch the water, as it could be drinking water for the Salt Lake Valley in as little as 24 hours.
 Our entire group:

Before it was time to head back, Micah wanted to take us all on one Geocache hunt. He, Phoenix, and Alyssa got ahead of the rest of us and found the cache. They left a band aid. :)

Best of friends, Matthew and Alyssa.

How cool and generous of you. Though, I guess adding two more to your awesome brood is no big deal. ;)
