Matthew had been looking forward to his school's anticipated field trip to the corn maze on 4000 W (by Smith's). The last year we'd gone had been very muddy, although that didn't stop us. This day was beautiful! Grandma Miller joined us, and we had fun searching for each numbered post along the way, and answering the different questions that helped keep us on the correct path.
We talked as we walked. We discussed the alphabet, I taught Matthew the "Hokey Pokey" song, and we just enjoyed noticing the corn growing on the stalks.
Look at his cute little face. I love this boy. He's growing and changing all the time. People normally think he's a little older than he is, because he's rather tall. But he's definitely a 4 year-old. Inquisitive and trusting. It is nice to be able to spend time with my little man. And it's fun to have Grandma along for the ride.
